Write about and occasion when you were given some good advice and how you react to it.
It is a week before the maths test and everyone is studying hard on it because the marks are counted in the semester assessment. I had always been always been good in math and I have confidence that I would pass with flying colours for this test, It is just a piece of cake for me. Days passed and it was the day for the math test, everyone is discussing the math formulas and other math stuffs before the math test while I was fooling around with people from other classes. Suddenly, I bumped into someone ; it is Tom, our class monitor. He asked me aside and told me to stop fooling around and revise on my work. Of course, I am over confident and told him that I am clever enough to handle this test. He had no choice as he could not force me to study and he walked away. While teacher had passed the test paper to each and everyone of us then she started the time. The test was one hour and the moment I flip over the page, I stared blankly at the first page as I do not even understand a single sentence! After numerous times of reading, I finally understand the first question and started doing it.
When I finished the first question, the bell rang. I was stunned and do not know what had happened.
An instresting incident that happen during the holidays
I was awakened by the ringing tone of my hand phone.
I ran to the toilet the moment I got off my bed because I was late upon meeting my friend. I wash myself up and change up my clothes in a hurry and ran out of the house. While I was on the bus, I messaged my friend that I would be late for the appointment and he said that it is alright and waited for me patiently. When I saw him waiting for me at the arcade entrance, I apologized to him and we went in together. We played a few rounds of car racing and he paid for all the games we played. I felt hungry and told him that we could have our lunch at the food court nearby. He agreed and we slowly walked our way to the food court. On the way there, I searched my pockets for my wallet but cannot seem to find it anywhere.
I asked my friend if he had seen my wallet just now but he said that he had not seen me taking out my wallet for the whole day. I scared that it was stolen but to confirm it, I called my sister and she told me that I had left my wallet at home as I was going out in a hurry and forgotten to take it along with me.
Write about a time when you lost something expensive, but gained a valuable lesson
“I cannot seem to find it!” I shouted across the basketball court.
My phone rang while I was playing computer games. It was my friend Tom, on the phone and he asked me whether I wanted to go out to play basketball with some of his friends. I asked him to wait as I had to ask my mother for permission first. When I asked my mother, she was worried at first but I told her that I would take care of myself as I was already a primary six student. I picked up the phone and told my friend that I would be at the basketball court in thirty minutes
Thirty minutes passed and all of my friends were there and we started our match. Accidentally, while I was shooting the ball, I fell on the ground with a loud thud because it just rained and the floor was slippery. My pants were wet and because I was afraid that I would wet my new hand phone, I placed it on the bench. We continued the match for about fifteen minutes and while I turned to the bench, I could not see my hand phone. I ran towards the bench and took out my friend’s bag and wish it was underneath it but it was not.
I was very nervous as the phone was bought for just a few months and I was afraid to be scolded by my parents. We all ran to second hand shops which sell hand phones nearby but could not find any clues. I walked back home desperately and await to face the music.
