An incident when I was caught in a storm

There were big cauliflower clouds boiling up in the sky,the forecast I heard earlier was obviously wrong. Looks like a storm was going to start.
It was Sunday and I went out with my friend to the library to study for out examination that was coming soon. We met at the entrance of the library in the morning while the sun was really bright. I was listening to the radio from my hand phone wile i was waiting for my friend. The broadcaster said that it would be a day without rain and i was relieved to hear that because I would be going out with my family in the afternoon. My friend came just after the weather forecast had ended. We studied till 1pm and i told my friend that i would be going home because i had a outing with my family. The moment i stepped out of the library, I saw dark clouds above me and raindrops dripping onto my hands. Unluckily,i forgotten to bring my umbrella out as i thought i was late from meeting my friend. The storm exploded on me like a chaos of wind and i kept my hand phone because it might attract lightning. There are explosion of light and head numbing noise. I ran to the bus stop which was about 300 metres away from the library. The storm raged on while i saw a lightning strike down somewhere at the left and i was terrified. I finally reached the bus stop and my clothes were icy and dripping. There was no sight of any people in the bus stop because everyone would be at home sheltering from the rain.
I felt hope at the moment while a bus came and everyone on the bus is staring at me.

Confession of a Traumatophobia

"Ouch!” I lost my balance and fell on to the ground with a loud thud.

I was one of those careful people because I had always been scared of being injured. I was walking home from school with my friend or somehow an enemy. We got bored and wanted to find something to do before we reach home. An idea hit me and I told him that we could race back to his house. We bet $2 for the person who reaches first. We counted from 3 and the race started! He was quite ahead of me and suddenly, I tripped over a branch and fell onto the ground. My knee was bleeding profusely because it hit the edge of the path. My friend did not notice me and he just keep running ahead to his house. I did not have any tissue or water with me to stop the bleeding and no one passed by me. My sock had been stained to red and my hands too, the blood felt sticky. I walked my way back home and found it hard. When my mother opened the door, she was shocked by the blood all over my leg. She helps to bandaged me and I had to rest for the next day and could not walk to school.
After this incident, I was scared of having injuries and would be more careful.
